The crop-livestock integration system (CLS) increases the overall productivity of the production areas, increasing the production of meat and grains with low-cost production (COSTA et al., 2009). Forage cultivars released for grazing have been used in a croplivestock in order to produce straw for no-tillage and provide quality forage in the dry period of the year (ALVARENGA et al., 2006). It is also expected that the simultaneous cultivation offsets losses in grain yield by reducing risks and costs, decreases the infestation of crop diseases and weeds, besides the gains obtained from the production of meat in CLS. Since one of the biggest problems, considering production, in tropical livestock production nowadays is the maintenance of satisfactory pasture for a sustainable livestock production, this study was to evaluate the productivity and nutritive value of eight grasses intercropped with off-season corn. |

This study aimed to zone the suitable areas for the cultivation of sugar cane. In this
study were used the programs SPRING, SIMULA and BIPZON to complete the zoning agro climatic. The periods simulated were the 1st, 3rd and 6th by the interval of 5 days (1 to 5, 11 to 15 and 26 to 30) of the months of July, August and September. It was used the ISNA, in three different capacities of water storage in the soil. The cultivation of sugar cane presents extensive periods to planting, provided that there are reserves of water in the soil.
