Forage cultivars released for grazing have been used in a croplivestock in order to produce straw for no-tillage and provide quality forage in the dry period of the year (ALVARENGA et al., 2006). It is also expected that the simultaneous cultivation offsets losses in grain yield by reducing risks and costs, decreases the infestation of crop diseases and weeds, besides the gains obtained from the production of meat in CLS. Since one of the biggest problems, considering production, in tropical livestock production nowadays is the maintenance of satisfactory pasture for a sustainable livestock production, this study was to evaluate the productivity and nutritive value of eight grasses intercropped with off-season corn. aPastagem aProdutividade aValor Nutritivo aIntegração lavoura pecuária1 aKICHEL, A.
