The use of by-products from food industry is an important challenge task all around the world. Mango seeds are agro-industrial by-product available in large quantities in tropical countries. They are basically composed of shell and almond. The coat covers the almond, and contains large amounts of cellulose, lignocellulose and lignin [1]. Nowadays, plastics from petroleum are expected to fully decompose in thousands of years. Thus, the development of sustainable products is an alternative for petroleum based materials due to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and to generation of a more economic opportunity for the agricultural sector |
