O objetivo foi avaliar a produtividade e os custos de produção de milho safrinha em consórcio com capim, para a região de cerrado de Rondônia, especificamente para o município de Vilhena-RO. Foram utilizadas duas cultivares de milho, BRS 1055 e BRS 1060, em consórcio com o capim Brachiaria ruzizienses, na safrinha de 2011. As produtividades obtidas foram de 2.196 kg.ha-1 para o milho híbrido BRS 1055 e 1.888 kg.ha-1 para o híbrido BRS 1060, com valor médio de 2.037 kg.ha-1. O custo fixo do milho foi remunerado pela cultura da soja, sendo o custo total estimado em R$ 632,80. A produtividade do milho foi inferior à média da safrinha estadual, mas suficiente para cobrir o custo total de produção. This paper presents partial results from an iLPF - Crop-Livestock-Forest integration system installed in the Experimental Station of Embrapa Rondonia, in Vilhena/RO. The aim of this work was to evaluate the productivity and the production cost of second crop maize intercropped with grass in this system for Rondônia‘s savannas, specifically for Vilhena county. Two maize cultivars, BRS 1055 and BRS 1060, were used in consortium with the grass Brachiaria ruziziensis in the second crop of 2011. The yields obtained were 2.196 kg.ha-1 for BRS 1055 maize hybrid and 1.888 kg.ha-1 for BRS 1060 hybrid, with average value of 2.037 kg ha-1. The fixed cost of corn was paid by the soybean crop, and the estimated total cost was R$ 632.80.
