A preliminary analysis of the course structure, expected target population, and objective are presented. The course includes all phases of the data acquisition process such as sensors, signal amplifier, analog-to-digital converter, and programs. The course was divided in two parts: (1) lecture, where the students will learn theory and basic design techniques: (2) and laboratory, where examples were used to illustrate each one of the phases. To conclude, a course evaluation system was suggested. aagriculture aagronomy aAgricultura aAgronomia aEnsino aInformática aInformatics
