The result of this project will be a website whose contents are electronic resources (publications web) related to the beef cattle suply chain.The formats and types considered will be as varied as texts, images, sound, software, data, interactive, events, etc. This project aims at developing an infrastructure for creation of electronic resources metadata, having as functionality: insertion; alteration; exclusion; and search to classified resources. It also approaches the need of developing appropriate tools for organization of information. XML language (eXtensible Markup Language) is used for structuring information contents, and the Dublin Core standard for description of electronic resources.
