Even throught the population represents many generations of natural selection in the Pantanal region without any anthropic action, presently it is danger of extinction. The objective of this study was to evaluate two phenotypic traits: scrotum circumference (SC) and body weight (BW). A total of 487 measurements collected from 1994 to 1997, utilizing animals from 8 to 36 months of age, were analyzed.
