On thefurther processing of leaf factor "K" fro apricot, apricot, peach, plum 0.758, 0.670, and 0.682 respectively can be used for calculating the leaf area except in the variety Charmagz of apricot and Elberta in Peach. Whereas leaf factor "K" for pear and guava can be taken as 0.706 and 0.757 safely. The figures thus derived on the basis of the mean values of "K" of all the above fruits studied and by multiplying with these values, thediffeence was always less than 5 per cent. Therefore, the above "K" factors designated for apricot, peach, plum pear and guava varieties can be safely used for calculating the actual leaf area of the above mentioned fruit plants and their varieties as stated above. aGoiaba aEstimativa da area foliar1 aSRIVASTAVA, R.
