João Pessoa: EMEPA-PB, 2009. 3 f. 1 CD-ROM.c2009  aResumo: O objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar o desempenho de cordeiros Santa Inês (SI), F1 Dorper × Santa Inês (Dp × SI) e F1 Santa Inês × Sem Padrão de Raça Definida (SI × SPRD) terminados em confinamento e alimentados com dietas contendo dois níveis de energia. Foram utilizados 54 cordeiros não castrados (18 de cada genótipo) com idade média de 150 dias e peso médio de 22,60 kg. As dietas utilizadas foram isoprotéicas, contendo 17% de proteína bruta, 2,40 Mcal/kg MS e outra com 2,90 Mcal/kg MS. Os cordeiros submetidos à dieta com 2,90 Mcal/kg MS apresentaram menores consumos de matéria seca e água, maior ganho de peso médio diário, maior escore corporal e menor período de confinamento. Os cordeiros Dp × SI apresentaram conversão alimentar semelhante nas duas dietas e os SI e SI × SPRD obtiveram melhor conversão alimentar na dieta com 2,90 Mcal/kg MS. Abstract: The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of Santa Inês (SI), F1 Dorper × Santa Inês (Dp × SI) and F1 Santa Inês × Without Standard Defined Breed (SI × WSDB) lambs finished in feedlot and fed with diets containing two levels of energy. Fifty-four intacto lambs (18 from each genotype) with average age of 150 days and 22,6 kg of live body weight were used. The diets contained 17% of crude protein, 2,40 Mcal/kg DM and 2,90 Mcal/kg DM. Lambs submitted in diet containing 2,90 Mcal/kg DM showed smaller dry matter intake and water, greater daily weight of gain, greater corporal score and smaller number of days in feedlot.
