It is quite recently that people have taken up planting of grafted varieties because of better fruit qualities and high premium that the fruit gets in the market. The seedling varieties bear after 8-9 years whereas the grafted ones start giving fruit 4-5 years after planting. The fruit in the early year of bearing is of course very little and it reaches its peak in about 12-15 years and after 40-50 years the yield again begins to decline.  aComercialização  aManga1 aALI, C.
