Isolated embryoids were differentiated on medium containing 1000 to 1500mgl less 1 malt extract. Both embryoids and shoots were obtained by the use of plant growth regulators: NAA and BAP. The highest frequency was obtained with 1 mgl less1 BAP in Poncirus trifoliata and citrang but with 1mgl less1 NAA + 10mgl less1 BAP in C. aurantium. Rooting was promoted by a supplement of 1mgl less1 GA or 1mgl less1 NAA.
