Foram utilizados 32 cordeiros, Santa Inês, castrados com peso médio inicial de 15,8 kg ± 1,4 kg e idade variando entre 3 a 4 meses. Destes, oito cordeiros foram abatidos no início do experimento representando a composição corporal inicial, constituindo os ?Animais Referência? na metodologia do abate comparativo. . Os animais estavam em pastagens nativas enriquecidas com capim bufel e suplementados com três diferentes níveis de mistura concentrada na dieta, correspondendo à suplementação de 0,0 1,0% e 1,5% de concentrado/dia ajustada de acordo com o AFRC para um ganho médio diário estimado em 200g. Os valores estimados de composição corporal variaram de 17,11a 14,91 g de Ca; 6,08 a 5,33 g de P por Kg de peso de corpo vazio (PCV). As exigências líquidas de cordeiros dos 15 a 30kg para ganho de peso variaram de 10,8 a 9,4 mg de Ca e 3,89 a 3,76 mg de P por g de PV ganho. Body composition and nutritional requirements in calcium and phosphorus of Santa Inês sheep on the feed in the Semi-Arid Abstract: This work had as objective evaluates the body composition and nutritional requirements of calcium and phosphorus of lamb on the feed system in the semi-arid area. 32 lambs were used, Santa Inês, castrated with initial medium weight of 15,8 kg ± 1,4 kg and age varying between 3 to 4 months. Of these, eight lambs were abated in the beginning of the experiment representing the initial body composition, constituting the “Reference Animals" in the methodology of the comparative discount. The animals were in native pastures enriched with grass búffel (Cenchrus ciliaris L cv. Bioela) and supplemented with three different levels of concentrated mixture in the diet, corresponding to the supplementation of 0,0 1,0% and 1,5% of adjusted concentrated/day in agreement with AFRC for a diary medium gain estimated in 200g. The estimated values of body composition varied of 17,11a 14,91 g of Ca; 6,08 to 5,33 g of P for Kg of empty body weight (EBW).
