Foram utilizados 24 cabritos (12 Moxotó e 12 Canindé) com idade média de quatro meses e peso vivo inicial médio de 15 kg, alojados em baias individuais, distribuídos no delineamento inteiramente casualizado, em um arranjo fatorial 2x2 (duas raças e dois níveis de alimentação) e seis repetições. Os níveis de alimentação foram: à vontade (T1) e 30% de restrição em relação ao animal que recebia alimentação à vontade (T2). As sobras foram coletadas durante três dias consecutivos após 45 dias de recebimento da dieta na fase experimental. Foi observado efeito (P&lt0,05) da restrição alimentar sobre a composição da dieta consumida, e de raças, nos percentuais de proteína (PB%) e carboidratos totais (CHOT%) das sobras, com médias de 18,1% e 17,4% de PB e 15,1 % CHOT para os animais da raça Moxotó nos respectivos regimes de alimentação, á vontade e restrito. Chemical Composition of the presented Diet and Consumed for Goats of the Moxotó and Canindé Breed Submitted at Two Levels of Feeding Abstract: The work had for objective to evaluate the effects of the selective habit on the Chemical Composition of the presented diet and consumed of the Moxotó and Canindé breed goats. Twenty-four intact male kids (12 Moxotó and 12 Canindé) with age medium of four months and with initial average live weight of 15 kg, camped in individual stalls, distributed entirely in the delineamento casualizado, in a factorial arrangement 2x2 (two races and two feeding levels) and six repetitions. The feeding levels were: comfortable (T1) and 30% of restriction in relation to the animal that received comfortable feeding (T2). The surpluses were collected for three consecutive days after 45 days of greeting of the diet in the experimental phase.
