For this, 16 goats were submitted to High (n=8) or Low (n=8)  nutrition. Goats in Low group showed a marked atrophy ( of ovary with reduction of their weight. The number of isolated follicles was statistical/y similar between groups. In conclusion, a large number of preantral follicles can be isolated from ovaries of adult goat submitted to severe undermutrition.
