The two-year-old female goat.h[electronic resource] c1963 aAbstract: Blood samples were taken from housed, female goats about 2 years old which had kidded for the first time and were lactating. These goats were sampled to record the erythrocytic picture, the leucocytic picture and the physical properties. For most of the observations groups of over 50 goats were used. The results are summarized in Table I and Fig. 1. The body temperatures of 100 goats were also recorded. A characteristic feature of the blood picture was the small size and the large number of the erythrocytes, the smallest being only 1.5 ? in diameter and the highest count touching 20 × 106/mm3. aBlood chemistry aGoats aHematology aCabra aCaprino aHematologia aSangue1 aDEW, S.
