G. aExamination of rams for fertility.h[electronic resource] c1959 aAbstract? Semen samples were collected by rectal stimulation on three occasions from 296 stud rams, and the semen quality compared with the breeding performance of the rams. The minimal requirements of a satisfactory sample appeared to be milky appearance, 50% motile spermatozoa, moderate motility, and less than 20% abnormal spermatozoa. Highly fertile rams sometimes gave unsatisfactory semen samples, but rams of low fertility gave no satisfactory sample. aAnimal production aClinical examination aLivestock aReproduction aSheep aCarneiro aFertilidade aOvino aReprodução aAndrologia tNew Zealand Veterinary Journalgv. 7, n. 3, p. 61-63, 1959.
