J. aA note on animal behavior as a factor in parasitism.h[electronic resource] c1961 aA limited outbreak of parasitism involving two deaths in housed goats is described. The circumstances of parasite incidence and husbandry resembled recently reported outbreaks of Nematodiriasis. Prior to the disease outbreak, a rank order had been observed among these goats and it was later seen that the heavily parasitised subjects were those low in the rank order. It is considered that this behavior phenomenon might well cause a disproportionate disease incidence in housed animals. An abvions method of control using feed racks is suggested. aAnimal parasitic nematodes aEpidemiology aGoat diseases aGoats aParasitology aCaprino aEpidemiologia aParasitologia aNematodeos1 aFRASER, A.
