The goat population in this area was mainly fed on crop residues, agricultural by-producis and on irrigated forages. Milk production data of accumulated and non-accumulated lactation curves were computed. These curves were computed for each goat within treatment. It was found that lactation peak in goats occurred 5-6, 10- 11 or 17-19 weeks post-kidding, depending on feeding level. There was a trend to delay the maximum milk production as the feeding level decreased. The total milk production tended to have higher variations among goats within treatments as the feeding value increased. aCrop residues aDairy goats aMilk production aCabra Leiteira aCaprino aLeite aProdução aProdução Leiteira1 aMARTINEZ, R.
