Induction of abortion by administration of cortisone acetate.h[electronic resource]  c1975  aTwenty pregnant Angora goat does were used in an experiment designed to investigate the effect of prolonged cortisone&gttreatment on pregnancy. Ten experimental animals were injected with 100 mg hydrocortisone acetate daily from approximately the 70th day of gestation. In this group 77,8 per cent of the animals aborted while the remaining does gave birth to non-viable kids. No abortions were encountered in the control group.
