Meat for home consumption and sale of the surplus, skin only for sale. Milk and other dairy products are produced in very few goat establishments. Brazil has invested a great deal of money to generate technology to provide immediate support for goat production improvement programs. The marketing system for live animals is localized and done at rural and urban markets. The fresh skins are dried and sold at the local market, which sells to skin traders. Milk and other dairy products are used mainly for home consumption, but some marketing has been developed for such products recently. Table 1.
