O experimento foi conduzido em câmara climatizada a 25 ± 1º C, umidade relativa de 70 ± 10% e fotofase de 14 horas, no Laboratório de Entomologia do CCA-UFES, em Alegre, ES. Ovos de H. zea foram aderidos em cartelas e tratados por imersão nas diferentes concentrações e em água (testemunha) por cinco segundos. A viabilidade dos ovos não apresentou diferença significativa entre os tratamentos (Tukey p = 0,05), demonstrando não haver influência das concentrações do produto sobre as diferentes idades dos ovos.  The effect of commercial formulation neem oil of the 0.3, 0.4 e 0.5% was evaluated, as it was applied on eggs of Helicoverpa zea with 1, 2, and 3 days old. The experiment was carried out in acclimatized chamber 25 ± 1º C, 70 ± 10% relative humidity and photophase of 14 hours, in the Entomology Laboratory of the CCA-UFES, in Alegre, ES. Eggs of H. zea were glued in paper cards and treated by submersion in the solutions and in the water (control) for five seconds. There are not differences in the eggs viability between the treatments (Tukey p = 0.05), thus demonstrating that there are no effects of the concentrations of the product on different ages of eggs.  aInsecta  aMilho  aplanta inseticida1 aDALVI, L.
