Seven indicators were chosen (delivery perfonnance, overall consumptive ratio, sustainability of irrigated area, power and energy consumption. operation and maintenance fraction, unit gross economic return. and global revenue/cost ratio) to assess the performance of the scheme in the period from 1997 through 2000.
