Agricultural Experiment Stationsc1982 a63p. a(The University of Georgia. Research Report, 388). aThis reporte is one of three publications presenting the 1981 performance of agronomic crops in Georgia. In this booklet are the results of the 1981 performance tests with peanuts, soybeans, sorghum, cotton, tobacco, sunflowers and summer annual forages. These crops were tested at several or all of the following locations: tifton, plains and midville in the Coastal Plain Region, Experiments and Athens in the Piedmont Region, Calhoun in the Limestone Valley Region and Blairsville in the Mountain Region. Information about cultural practices and fertilization used in each trial is included with the Tables. Since the average of several years yields indicates a variety's yield potential better than one year, summaries of average yields for two or three years are included in this report. In order to have a broad base of information, a number of varieties, including experimental lines, are included in the trials, but this does not imply that all are recommended for Georgia. For recommendations of varieties best suited to a specific area or for a particular purpose, refer to the recommendations agreed upon by College of Agriculture Agronomist found in the agricultural extension card, "Spring Planting Schedules", consult your county agent, or contact the nearest experiment station. For best results, plant adapted seed secured from a reliable source. Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) and the Coeficient of Variation (C.V.) have been included in the Tables to aid in comparing varieties and trials. The use of DMRT is expla- aagriculture acotton aforage aresearch atobacco aAgricultura aAlgodão aAmendoim aGirassol aPesquisa aSoja aSorgo aCultivar aEUA aForrageira aPeanut aSorghum aSoybean aSunflower aTabaco aUSA aVariety1 aDAY, J.
