During the season studied, may to october, the protein content of both grasses tended to increase. The fiber content decreased in the case of Quinamul and rapidly increased in pangola. Two digestibility trials were run on pangola, three on Quinamul and one on a mixture of the two. The chemical composition and coefficients of digestibility in table VII (Cuadro VII). aCapim Pangola aComposição Química aDigestibilidade aDigitaria Decumbens aCapim quinamul aIpomonea sagittata1 aJARQUIN, R.1 aGONZAGA ELIAS, L. tTurrialbagv. 8, p. 110-116, 1958.
