The main features of this platform are: the rapid exchange of information between co-located active objects due to the sharing of the same address space; its openness due to the usage of ISODE (ISO Development Environment) as its communications infrastructure; the concurrent processing of activities within each active object; and the ability to associate different priority levels to such activities. Those features turn it specially suitable for the implementation of TMN services in high speed network environment such as Asynchronous Transfer Mode. aDistributed active object model aGerência de redes aManagement platform aModelo de objetos ativos distribuídos aPlataforma de gerência aRede de gerência de telecomunições aTelecommunications management network aTMN services1 aBONATTI, I.
