A. aInfluence of solvents on polyurethane preparation. c2004 aPolyurethane, characterized by -NH-CO-Q- groups, has been used as a polyrner matrix to produce piezo- and pyroelectric composites [1,2] and blends with conductive polyrners, such as polyaniline doped with p-toluene sulphonic acid(TSA) [3]. During the preparation of polyurethane(PUR) films air bubbles may be formed when using lhe pre-polyrner method (two-step process). We have observed that lhe use of some solvents like N-methyl-2- pyrrolidinone (NMP) and chloroform, drastically diminished these bubbles. In lhe present work we studied lhe influence of NMP and chloroform on lhe chemical reaction of pre-polyrner with polyol during polyurethane (PUR) preparation. aPolĂmeros aPolĂmeros condutores aPoliuretano1 aALVES, W.
