Based on results and discussion it was possible to conclude: a) The yield of rosin was higher for P.kesyia than those of other pines. b) The yield of turpentine was higher for P.caribaea and P.elliottii than those of other pines. c) The P.kesyia rosin showed the better properties and the P.oocarpa rosin showed the worst properties. d) The better turpentine chemical composition was showed by the P.elliottii and P.kesyia.1 aBARRICHELO, L.
