A functionalized acid was used, namely camphor sulfonic acid, in chloroform solutions. The films produced were characterized by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, electrical conductivity measurements and ellipsometry. When spread on acid subphases the films are readily obtained in the doped state. The presence of m-cresol promotes secondary doping effects as demonstrated by a lower energy excitonic transition due to polaron delocalization. aspectroscopy aEspectroscopia aFabricacao aFilmes afilmes ultrafinos aLangmuir-Blodgett aLB aPolianilina aPolyaniline1 aTELLES, G.
