E. aA computerized apparatus for evaluation of irrigation systems using soil temperature profile. c1995 ap.152. aA computerized apparatus based on a Motorola 6502 microprocessor, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) devices, as well as using thermocouples, was designed to carry out analysis of irrigation systems. It not only allows measurement and recording of soil temperature data at eight depths from 2 to 128cm in the range of -20 degrees up to 99.9 degrees, an accuracy of plus or minus 1.5% and 0.1 degree resolution but also statistical analysis. Furthermore using soil temperature profile, an experimental investigation for evaluation of irrigation systems was carried out. Quantitative results under both drip and furrow irrigation systems are presented. Tomatoes was chosen to illustrate the thermal effects observed. airrigation systems asoil atemperature aEquipamento aIrrigação aSolo aTomate aAvaliacao aComputerized apparatus aEvaluation aPerfil aProfile aSistema aTomatoe tIn: ENCONTRO NACIONAL DE FISICA DA MATERIA CONDENSADA, 18., jun. 1995, Caxambu, MG.
