We present an innovative methodology for topoclimatic zoning, designed to identify potential areas for planting native forest species in the Brazilian Amazon. Climatic typology is categorized based on specific classification assumptions, with a focus on statistical variables. By leveraging the extensive database of native forest species occurrences collected by RADAMBRASIL in digital format, we perform a detailed analysis of 14 topoclimatic variables, with a particular emphasis on anthropogenic areas. As a case study, the topoclimatic zoning of Tachigali vulgaris reveals a substantial 57% potential within anthropogenic zones. This methodology demonstrates its flexibility and applicability to a wide range of native forest species, providing a valuable tool to enhance tropical forest cultivation in areas with limited production capacity in the Amazon. aTaxi Branco aPlantio florestal aTachigali vulgaris aZoneamento topoclimático1 aBRIENZA JUNIOR, S.1 aLISBOA, L.
