G. aChanges in the chemical characteristics of a planossol, in elephant grass cultivation - BRS capiaçu, after application of treated wastewater.h[electronic resource] c2024 aThe present study evaluates chemically the soil after an application of treated wastewater originated through anaerobic digestion of dairy cattle wastewater in the cultivar Pennisetum purpureum (BRS Capiaçu). Developed in an experimental field at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa Gado de Leite located in Coronel Pacheco/MG - from November 2017 to July 2018. The applications were performed by applying different doses of treated wastewater in slides of 0, 24, 48, and 72 mm cycle-1. For each experimental plot, soil collections were executed in two different layers (0-20 and 40-60 cm) and their characterisations were made before and after the applications. The use of treated wastewater proved to be efficient for fertigation of capiaçu grass since it provided, in the root zone of the plant, an increase in essential nutrients for its growth. The leaching of the analysed metals was not observed, and the 72 mm cycle-1 slide was determined as the best disposal dose of the effluent in the soil since it was able to increase the crops height, dry and green mass. aBovino aCapim Elefante aQuímica do Solo aSolo aÁgua residuária1 aSILVA, J.
