Foram usadas treze cabras da raça Saanen criadas na região semiárida com o objetivo de realizar uma avaliação hematológica, no período seco do ano. Os constituintes sanguíneos dos animais se encontraram dentro dos valores de referências considerados normais em situação de conforto térmico, o que demonstra a capacidade de tolerância ao calor às condições climáticas da região. [Hematological profile of dairy goats reared in semiarid region]. Abstract: The hematological profile of goats allows to identify the presence of diseases or state of thermal stress. Thirteen Saanen goats raised in the semi-arid region were used to perform a hematological evaluation in the dry period of the year.
