These were efficient in detecting polymorphism in the evaluated genotypes, amplifying a total of 2671 bands. The number of polymorphic bands per initiator varied from one in primers TriTGT3?YC and TriCCG3?RC to 77 in initiator TriGAC3?RC. Divergence analysis by UPGMA clustering of the data allowed the definition of four contrasting groups with similarities of 49.73, 45.74, 36.24 and 31.72%, respectively; confirming that genetic variability among the evaluated genotypes can be explored, as well as advances in pumpkin improvement can be possible. The most divergent genotypes were C. moschata 6 and C. moschata 4, with divergences of 77.6 and 100%, respectively. aGenotype aPumpkins aAbóbora aCucúrbita Moschata aCucurbitaceae aGenótipo aMarcador Molecular aMelhoramento Genético Vegetal aDivergência genética aMarcadores ISSR1 aMELO, N.
