Maceió: SBMc2019 aAbstract: The present work aimed to study the antimicrobial resistance profile of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from goal milk. Two hundred and twelve samples of goat milk were used for the microbiological analyses. In ten (4.7%) of these samples, strains of Staphylococcus aureus were isolated. The susceptibility of the strains of S. aureus was assayed by the disc diffusion method. The antibiotics tested were: Ampicillin-10?g (AMP), Chloramphenicol-30?g (CHL), Tetracycline-30?g (TET), Gentamicin-10?g (GEN), Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole-25?g (SXT), Erythromycin-30?g (ERY), Cefoxitin-30?g (CFO), Ciprofloxacin-05?g (CIP), Penicillin-10? (PEN)), Clindamycin-02?g (CLI), Azithromycin-15?g (AZM), Rifampicin-05?g (RIF) and Linezolid 30?g (LZD).
