Objetivou-se avaliar a composição químico- bromatológica do fruto da carnaúba nos diferentes estágios de maturação. Foram colhidos no município de Bela Cruz- CE. A fibra detergente ácida e lignina não diferiram e o da proteína bruta foi maior (50dias). Colhidos aos 50 dias de idade apresentou maior valor proteico e parece ser uma opção viável na alimentação animal. Abstract: To determine the use of alternative foods in the diet of the animals it is necessary to know the nutritional properties. The objective of this study was to evaluate the chemical composition bromatology- the fruit of the maximum in the different stages of maturation. Were collected in the municipality of Bela Cruz- CE. The detergent fiber and acid lignin did not differ and the crude protein was highest (50 days).
