As dietas continham 0, 33, 66 e 100% de feno de juazeiro em substituição ao feno de Tifton 85, distribuídos em delineamento em blocos casualizados com quatro repetições. As ingestões de MS, MO, PB, FDN, CHT, CHE e CNE, expressas em g/dia, %PV e g/kg0,75, não foram influenciadas pela adição do feno de juazeiro. Os valores médios de consumo de MS e PB foram de 1042,78 e 174,97 g/dia, respectivamente. A inclusão do feno de juazeiro não influenciou os consumos de nutrientes possibilitando o uso exclusivo em dietas de ovinos em relação ao feno de Tifton 85. Evaluation of different levels of juazeiro hay in rations of sheep: 1- Nutrients intake Abstract: The present study it objectified to evaluate the influence of four levels of juazeiro hay in the diet of dry mater (DM), organic mater (OM), crude protein (CP) and neutral detergent fiber (NDF), total carbohydrates (TCH), structural carbohydrates (SCH) and not structural carbohydrates (NSC) intake in sheep?s of the Morada Nova race. The diets contained 0, 33, 66 and 100% of juazeiro hay in substitution to the Tifton 85 hay, distributed in outlining in blocks entirely casualized with four repetitions. The DM, OM, CP, NDF, TCH, SCH and DSC intake, express in g/day, %BW and g/BW0,75, had not been influenced by the addition of the juazeiro hay. The average values of DM and CP intake had been of 1042.78 and 174.97 g/day, respectively.
