Foi desenvolvido na unidade experimental ?Nupeárido?, no município de Patos-PB, com 22 cabritos, com peso vivo inicial de 15 kg, em pastejo, distribuídos em quatro tratamentos com níveis crescentes de suplementação concentrada (0, 0,5, 1,0 e 1,5% do peso vivo). Ao final do período experimental os animais foram abatidos após jejum prévio de 16 h. As exigências nutricionais de proteína líquida para caprinos ½ Boer x ½ Anglo Nubiano, submetidos a pastejo no semi-árido, em crescimento variam de 145 a 144 mg/g de ganho, para animais de 15 a 30 kg de peso vivo. Abstract: The objective of this work was to estimate the nutritional requirements in protein for body weight gain of ½ Boer x ½ Anglo-Nubian goat kids on pasture in the semi-arid region. It was developed in the Experimental unit ?Nupeárido?, in Patos-PB, with 22 goat kids, with initial live weight of 15 kg, maintained on pasture and distributed into four treatments with increasing levels of concentrated supplementation (0, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5% of the live weight). At the end of the experimental period the animals were slaughtered after previous fast of 16 hours.
