Brasília, DF: SBZ; Lavras: UFLA, 2008. 3 f. 1 CD-ROM.c2008  aResumo: Vinte e quatro caprinos mestiços F1 (Bôer x SRD), não castrados, com peso vivo inicial de 15 kg e 120 dias de idade foram terminados em pastagem nativa com o objetivo de avaliar o efeito da suplementação na composição tecidual do lombo. A dieta foi constituída por pastagem nativa ?ad libitum? e níveis crescentes de suplementação (0; 0,5; 1,0 e 1,5% PV em matéria seca). O concentrado foi elaborado, visando atender um ganho diário de 200 gramas para o maior nível de suplementação. Os animais foram abatidos e a carcaça foi seccionada ao meio, sendo retirado o lombo, que foi dissecado em osso, músculo e gordura. A suplementação exerceu efeito linear positivo nos pesos do lombo e longissimus dorsi, no peso e rendimento da gordura total e intermuscular, mas sobre a relação músculogordura o efeito foi linear negativo e não influenciou as demais variáveis. Para se obter lombo com longissimus dorsi mais pesado, maior rendimentos de gordura e menor relação músculo:gordura recomenda-se fazer a suplementação. [Composition tissue of the loin of goats F1 (Boer x SRD) finished in native pasture with different supplementation level]. Abstract: Twenty-four F1 Boer x SRD goats weighting 15 kg LW and 120 days of age were finished in native pasture with the objective to evaluate effect of supplementation on composition tissue loin. The diet fed was composed by pasture native "ad libitum" and growing levels of supplementation (0; 0,5;1,0 and 1,5% LW in dry matter). The concentrate was elaborated seeking to assist daily earnings of 200 g for the largest supplementation level. The animals were slaughtered and the carcass was split up to the middle being removed the loin, that was dissected in bone, muscle and fat. The supplementation had positive lineal effect in the weights of the loin and longissimus dorsi, in the weight and fat yield intermuscle, but on the relationship muscle-fat the effect was negative lineal and it didn't influence the other variables.
