Os animais foram avaliados por oito horas/dia, em três momentos; para efeito de épocas os 28 animais foram avaliados em junho, julho e agosto. O delineamento utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado, com quatro tratamentos e sete repetições. Os dados foram avaliados através de análise de Qui-Quadrado ao nível de 5% de significância. Não houve diferença entre os tratamentos, mais em termos absolutos a freqüência de busca de água pelos animais foi de 71,43, 80,95, 88,89 e 77,78% observados para os tratamentos 0,0, 0,5, 1,0 e 1,5% de suplementação, respectivamente. Verificou-se que a época teve efeito significativo, com maior freqüência de busca de água no mês de junho (96,15%), superando o observado nos meses de julho (70,29%) e agosto (65,38%). Qualquer um dos níveis suplementação pode ser utilizado que não altera a busca de água pelos Caprinos F1 Boer x SRD terminados em pastagem nativa, mas os animais buscaram mais a água no mês de junho. [Effect of supplementation on the search of water for goat F1 Boer F1 x SRD finished in native pasture]. Abstract: The goal of this study was to evaluate the effect of different supplementation levels on search of water for goats F1 Boer x SRD finished in native pasture. The animals were evaluated for 8 hours/day, in three moments; for effect of period the 28 animals were evaluated in June, July and August. Design completely randomized was used, with five treatments and seven repetitions. The data were evaluated through analysis of Qui-square at the level of 5% of significant. There was not difference among the treatments, more in absolute terms the frequency of search of water for the animals was of 71,43, 80,95, 88,89 and 77,78%, more in absolute terms the search frequency for water of the animals was of 71,43, 80,95, 88,89 and 77,78% observed for the treatments 0,0, 0,5, 1,0 and 1,5% of supplementation, respectively. It was verified that the time had significant effect, more frequently of search for water in the month of June (96,15%), overcoming him/it observed in the months of July (70,29%) and August (65,38%).
