Essa é a principal restrição estrutural para a organização e desenvolvimento da cadeia produtiva de ovinos no estado do Pará. Abstract: The study identified and characterized the structure of the productive chain of sheep in the State of Pará. The size of the sheep herd in the State of Pará has achieved growth rates above the country average, and other traditional regions for this activity. However, at the moment, the entire state production is being commercialized without sanitary inspection. There are no specific slaughtering establishments with storage facilities for the frozen meat, and aggregation of value to the meat.
