Eighteen animals of the genetic group Graúna and twenty three of the Azul group were evaluated. Data of age at first kidding (AFK) for the Azul (11 data) and Graúna group (7 data) were used. For kidding interval (KI), 12 data were used for Azul and 11 for Graúna groups. The average, standard deviation and coefficient of variation (CV) of AFK were 517.18 ± 294.79 (CV=57%) and 485.43 ± 163.39 (CV=33,66) for the Azul and Graúna groups, respectively. For the KI, the average and standard deviations were 328.66 ± 179.6 (CV=54%) and 279.82 ± 152.69 (CV=54%). It was noted that the Graúna group had better performance than the Azul group in the analyzed traits; thus, they may leave a higher number of offspring during their lifetime. aAnimal genetic resources aBrazil aGoats aPhenotypic correlation aReproductive performance aSemiarid zones1 aRIBEIRO, M.
