A. de  aComportamento alimentar em pastejo de cabritos mestiço F1 (Boer x SRD) terminados em pastagem nativa com diferentes níveis de suplementação.  c2007  aResumo: Objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar o comportamento alimentar durante a suplementação de cabritos F1 (Boer x SRD) terminados em pastagem nativa. Foram utilizados 24 caprinos, não castrados, com peso vivo (PV) inicial de 15 kg e 120 dias de idade. As dietas experimentais foram constituídas por pastagem nativas ?ad libitum? e níveis crescentes de concentrado (0,5; 1,0 e 1,5 % PV). O concentrado foi à base milho moído, farelo de trigo, farelo e soja, torta de algodão, calcário, núcleo mineral e óleo de soja, visando atender um ganho diário de 200 g para o maior nível de suplementação. Foram realizadas três avaliações em cada mês, nas quais eram observados oito animais a cada dez minutos, repetidas nos meses de junho, julho e agosto. O tempo de ruminação, de ócio e de ingestão de água não foi influenciado pelos níveis de suplementação. O tempo de ingestão de sólido aumentou com o aumento da suplementação, mas não influenciou no tempo de ócio, de ruminação e de ingestão de água. O período em que a pastagem teve sua qualidade diminuída (agosto) proporcionou maior tempo de ingestão de sólido e menor tempo de ruminação. [Alimentary behavior in pastejo of mestizo kid goats f1 (Boer x SRD) finished in native pasture with different levels of ssupplementation]. Abstract: The goal of this study was to evaluate the behavior in grazing of goats F1 (Boer x SRD) submitted at different supplementation levels. The experiment was accomplished in the Nucleus of Research for Development of the Semi-arid (NUPEÁRIDO) of the Federal University of Campina Grande, in Patos-PB. Twenty-four non-castrated goats F1 (Boer x SRD) were used, servants in native pasture, distributed in a design in blocks casualizado with four treatments (0, 0,5, 1,0 and 1,5% of supplement PV), with six repetitions, split-plot in the time. The behavior was influenced by the supplementation levels, observing that the animals supplemented with 1,5% of concentrated less time passed grazing and more time ruminating when compared with the other supplementation levels. As for the schedule, the time of grazing decreased and the time of rumination and of leisure it increased in two o'clock (14:00-16:00) that preceded the supplementation  aCaprino1 aOLIVEIRA, N.
