R.  aBiometria e condição corporal de cabritos F1 (Boer x SRD), terminados em pastagem nativa e submetidos a diferentes níveis de suplementação.  c2007  aResumo: Objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar a biometria e a condição corporal de caprinos mestiço F1 (Boer x SRD), terminados em pastagem nativa e submetidos a diferentes níveis de suplementação. O trabalho foi conduzido na fazenda Nupeárido da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, em Patos-PB. Foram utilizados 24 caprinos, distribuídos em um delineamento inteiramente casualizado com quatro tratamentos (suplementados com 0,0; 0,5; 1,0 e 1,5 % do peso vivo em matéria seca) e seis repetições. As medidas biométricas e a condição corporal foram realizadas no final do experimento. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância e de regressão, sempre ao nível de 5 % de significância. Houve efeito linear positivo da suplementação para largura da garupa, perímetro da coxa e perímetro escrotal. Foi observado que os escores corporais (dorso e externo) cresceram linearmente (P&lt0,05) com a suplementação. A utilização de níveis crescente de suplementação permitiu estimar maiores largura da garupa e os perímetros da perna e do escroto, e que o aumento da suplementação permite a obtenção de animais com maiores escores de condição corporal. [Biometry and body condition score of goats f1 (Boer x SRD), finished in native pasture and submitted to different levels of supplementation]. Abstract: This work aimed to evaluate the biometry and the body condition score of the mestice goats F1 (Boer x SRD), finished in native pasture and submitted to different levels of supplementation. It was conducted in the farm of the Federal University of Campina Grande, in Patos-PB. It were used 24 goats, distributed in a completely randomized design with four treatments (supplemented with 0,0; 0,5; 1,0 e 1,5% of the live weight in dry matter) and six replications. The biometric measures and the body condition score were took in the end of the experiment. The dates were submitted to variance analysis and to regression analysis, in 5% of significance. There was linear positive effect of the supplementation for the croup width, the thigh and the scrotal perimeters. It was verified that the body condition scores (back and sternum) increased in linear way (p&lt0,05) with the supplementation.
