C. aSerological evidence for ovine adenovirus antibodies in sheep, goats and bovine in Punjab. c1985 aIn this study, received for publication in October 1984, serum samples were tested by the immunoprecipitation test using antigens from local isolates ('D16' and 'D16F3') of ovine adenovirus 1. The serum samples were collected from animals on various farms in the Punjab; 44 (4%) of 1086 sheep, 26 (9%) of 284 goats, 21 (16%) of 131 buffaloes, and 21 (5%) of 448 cattle were positive. No prarallel data wass available in literature to compare the differences in sero-reactors among cattle and buffaloes. However, it is possible that the high incidence in buffaloes might have been due to fresh exposure to the infection just prior to be collection of sera samples aAdenoviridae aGoats aInfectious diseases aSheep aAdenovírus aBovino aBufalo aCaprino aInfecção aOvino aAfrican buffaloes1 aJOSHI, D.
