Resumo: Foram utilizados quatro ovinos adultos, sem raça definida, castrados. As dietas fornecidas foram constituídas de quatro níveis de sementes, 0, 15, 30 e 45%, à dieta básica de feno de tifton 85, com base na matéria seca, o que forneceu 1,66; 4,30; 6,94; 9,58 de extrato etéreo e 10,18; 12,03; 13,90 e 15,45% de proteína bruta, respectivamente, para os quatro tratamentos. Para o estudo da cinética sanguínea foram avaliados os níveis de uréia e de triglicerídeos coletados nos tempos 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 e 9h após o período de alimentação, sendo os valores estudados em relação ao conteúdo existente no sangue minutos antes do fornecimento da dieta. Utilizou-se um ensaio do tipo inteiramente casualizado, disposto em um delineamento de parcelas subdivididas, usando-se o teste SNK, a nível de 5%, para verificação da significância estatística. A cinética sanguínea apresentou valores de uréia superiores e equivalentes nas dietas com 15 e 30% de caroço. Já a concentração de triglicerídeos foi maior quanto maior a percentagem de semente utilizada na dieta. Effect of Cottonseed Level on the Urea and Trygliceride Plasmatic Concentration in Sheep. Abstract: Four adult sheep of indefined breed were used. The diet supplied consisted of four different seed levels, 0, 15, 30 e 45%, in the basic hay diet, based on dry matter, and lead to ether extract concentrations of 1,66; 4,30; 6,94; and 9,58; and 10,18;12,03;13,90 and 15,45% of crude protein, respectively, to four diets. Alterations in the plasma urea and triglyceride concentrations 1,2 3, 5,7 and 9h after feeding were estimated in relation to their concentrations a few minutes before feeding. In all studies, a randomized design was used, following a split plot design, using SNK test at level of 5% for statistical significance verification. The plasma concentrations of urea were highest in second and third diet. The triglyceride concentration was higher with increasing seed concentration in the diet.
