O gênero Sinorhizobium foi recentemente descrito como capaz de nodular e fixar nitrogênio eficientemente em feijoeiro. Foi estudada a competividade destas estripes pela ocupação nodular, comparamdo-se as estripes de R. tropici recomendadas no inoculante comercial (BR322 e BR520) com estripes de Sinorhizobium sp. Estripes de Sinorhizobium sp. mostran-se eficientes na fixação biológica de nitrogênio, aprentando acúmulo de matéria seca e nitrogênio na parte aérea semelhantes a testemunha nitrogenada e superiors a estripe BR322. A estripe BR923 foi mais competitiva do que as estripes do inoculante comercial, sendo que as demais estripes de Sinorhizobium foram tão competitivas quanto a estripe BR520. The capacity to nodulate and efficiently fix in nitrogen in association with common bean was recently described for Sinorhizobium sp. strains. The competition for nodule occupancy among these strains and the comercial inoculant, produced with Rhizobium tropici strains (BR322 and BR520), was investigated. Sinorhizobium strains were more efficient in nitrogen fixation, accumulating values of shoot dry matter and nitrogen similar to plants receiving mineral nitrogen and higher than plants inoculate with strain BR322. Strain BR923 of Sinorhizobium was the most competitive, and the other strains from this genera were as competitive as strain BR520. |
