@Risk(c) is a Lotus 1-2-3(c) "ADD-IN" that can be used to run Monte Carlo simulations on Crop of Livestock Enterprise Budgets. To demonstrate the potential application of the software, alternative corn production management strategies where analyzed using Lotus budget templates and @RISK simulation "@functions". A major of advantage of using @Risk is that management simulation can be run through an easily understandable spreadsheet format. Detailed statistics are presented in tabular form or PIC graphics files. Spreadsheet simulation can be easily adapted and used by Extension specialists, agents, researchers and clientele. |
