Diets rich in energy and proteins are commonly used to improve animal weight gain. However, they also increase the frequency of pulses of hormones of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal. In males, this increase stimulates the secretion of testosterone, which acts on the spermatogenesis and promotes testis development, improving the quality of the semen. |
