Maleic hydrazide (MH) and isopropyl N-phemyl carbamate (IPC) were used in two concentrations as pre-harvest foliar spray on sapota trees. Ttreatment with MH resulted in faster riping, higher respiration rate and greater moisture loss, treatment with IPC at 100 ppm retarded respiration, reduced spoilage and also contrplled ripening. |
