Agronomic Institute of Campinas and Embrapa Agricultural Instrumentation have been studies new promising clones of rubber tree for the cultivation in the São Paulo State. Thermal characterization of natural rubber from new clones of the IAC series (IAC 300, 301, 302, 303, 35, 40, and 56) and form RRIM 600 clone has been evaluated by DSC and TG/DTG techniques. The results have shown that there are no differences in the thermal behavior among rubber from different clones studied. The natural rubbers form IAC clones have shown good thermal stability up to 300C. The glass transition temperature obtained was approximately -63C. |
